OPEN HOUSE SUNDAY FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, ALBION The First Baptist Church, 980 Haven Road in Albion will be having an Open House on Sunday, September 21, beginning at 10:00 am. The St. Joe River Boys Gospel Quartet will have a concert preceding the 10:30 Worship Service. Dr. Mark Milioni, former pastor at FBC and President of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, will be the guest speaker. The Morning Worship Service will be followed by a free pig roast for all who attend. Later in the day, AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed), a club for boys and girls, four year olds through 6th grade, will have their kick off with a tailgate party in the parking lot. This is time to get acquainted with their leaders. A concert will begin at 5:30 pm. Everyone is welcome. No reservations are needed. The St. Joe River Boys are a Southern Gospel Quartet operating out of Tekonsha. The group is comprised of lead singer, Corey Wooden; tenor, David Tuckey; bass, Jerry Thenan; and baritone, Mark Smith. Mark Milioni attended Albion public schools, graduating in 1981. He then joined the Albion Public Safety Department. Mark graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1988. After twenty-five years in the pastorate he returned to BBC as their president. Over the years he has completed Master’s and Doctoral degrees at Luther Rice Seminary, Regent University and Louisiana Baptist University.
