Description:
|
This camps is for grades 4th-6th and will allow your child to not only explore nature, but blaze new trails that they never have before. The first session, Teepees, Tribes and Totem Poles, will be a chance to see what it was like to be a member of the Potowatomi tribe that existed in Albion. Activities will include a canoe trip down the Kalamazoo, exploring the nature center, and a trip to the student farm to see some of the crops that were grown during that time period. A snack will be provided. Camps will take place both indoors and out, please dress for the weather. Pre-register by the Thursday before the start of each camp by emailing your information to either tcm14@albion.edu or djgreen@albion.edu. Please include your name, your child's name, contact information, and the session name (Teepees, Tribes, and Totem Poles).
