Description:

Rumpelstiltskin is coming to Albion, ready to spin straw into gold and challenge the queen to guess his name. Albion Youth Theatre (AYT), in conjunction with Missoula Children’s Theater (MCT), will be putting on a fun, music-filled version of the fairy tale this February.
Rehearsals,held in the Albion Schools building, will take place every afternoon/evening this week, 4-8:15 p.m., through Friday, February 12, with the play being performed at 3 and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 13.
Rumpelstiltskin will be directed by a two-person team of professional actors from MCT, the largest traveling children’s theater in the world. MCT provides all costumes, sets, and props, and in addition to rehearsing the play itself the MCT directors work with the kids on general theater and stage presence skills throughout the week.
