Description: “Cool Spaces” profiles the most provocative and innovative public space architecture in North America. This episode is organized around the central theme of Healing Spaces. Three buildings are visited and we see why it was designed and how it was designed to be so cool. Guided by architect and teacher Stephen Chung, we set off to explore the Health Sciences Education Building in Phoenix, Arizona; Yale Health Center in New Haven, CT, and Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, Las Vegas, NV. PBS (60 min.)
