Description:

Come join us for a short
hike (6.1 mi) on the North
Country Trail from Homer, MI
to Litchfield, MI. Then
enjoy the festival food and
vendors at the Homer-is-
Home Summer Festival. This
hike is free. Surface is
paved trail and scenic
country roads. All Chief
Noonday hikes are one-way
with a shuttle to return to
your car. Come join us at 8
AM before the hike for
breakfast at the Homer
Stagecoach Cafe. Please
wear comfortable hiking or
walking shoes. Consider
bringing water, cell phone,
sunscreen, sunglasses,
insect repellent - and
bandaids in case those shoes
turn out to be less than
comfortable!
