Tuesday, April 4: Anna Howard Shaw lecture. Presenter Eryn Wise is media coordinator for the Sacred Stone Camp and the International Indigenous Youth Council (IIYC) based on North Dakota's Standing Rock Sioux Reservation. The IIYC empowers youth to become leaders of their Indigenous communities and works to protect land, water, and treaty rights. Wise's talk will be followed by a panel discussion titled “Women, Water, Pipes, and People” that features activists from pipeline- affected communities in Michigan. 7 p.m. Bobbitt Auditorium
