Description:
|
"Potential Movement," created by Albion College alumna Kristy Clement, brings a rare opportunity to see modern dance in Albion on Saturday, April 1. The event takes place at 7:30 p.m. in Albion's downtown Ludington Center, 101 North Superior Street.
Clement, a 2007 graduate of Albion College, choreographed Albion College Theatre's recent production of "Schoolhouse Rock" and is currently teaching a swing/ballroom dance class for Albion Recreation Department. With Albion College emerita instructor Missy Wyss, Clement is working on a history of the College's dance program during Wyss' tenure.
"Potential Movement" will also feature Albion College accompanist Nicholas Laban, '11, and poetry written by N. Matthew Mourning, '05, coordinator of the College's Learning Support Center.
This performance is free and open to all members of the community. Donations will be accepted in support of dance programming and activities in the community. For more information, contact Clement at kristy.celement@gmail.com.
