Description:

Healthy Babies Day will be
Saturday, September 23,
2017, at Albion Community
Center, 225 East Watson
Street (the former Albion
High School) in Albion.
Those who should attend
include parents who are
expecting; parents with
children, newborn through
18-months-old; and
caregivers of babies and
toddlers. Families from
Albion and surrounding
communities are invited.
This free event will feature
more than 25 booths. Guests
will learn about
breastfeeding resources,
nutrition, dental care,
child development, choking
hazards and prevention tips,
safe sleep and how to cope
with a crying baby. Car seat
safety checks will also be
available.
The event will last from 11
a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Registration will wrap up by
1 p.m. Those who register
will receive baby essentials
gifts such as diapers, wipes
and first aid tools. Lunch
will be provided at no cost.
